After enjoying our cheddar and sour cream Ruffles and balsamic vinegar Caffe Nero Crisps, we were excited about the company’s attempt at combining a few flavors together. The valuable lesson learned was that any company can have both their good and bad, and unfortunately these were the latter.
Hmmm..That's Unique
Tiny and thin, Estrella Spring Onion Chips had a strong onion odor similar to sour cream and onion chips you would find in the states. Their sister bacon flavor had a nice smell but no taste, did these ones fool our trained noses too?
Worth a Munch
When we opened and smelled the bag of Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles we didn’t get much, which led to complete amazement as the first bite was taken. The flavor magicians at Frito-Lay have created an absolutely delicious chip that blew us away in steps and surprised even our trained mouths.
