The best part about Wholly Wholesome Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough is that it boasts 70% organic ingredients. Eating organic makes me feel like I’m doing something for the local farmers, not to mention my body while avoiding tofu and feeling progressive about my eating habits. After Pillsbury Sugar Cookies made me lose a little faith in premade cookies, I was wondering if these could really taste homemade.
Twelve preformed Wholly Wholesome Oatmeal Raisin Cookies come in a box and if I hadn’t pulled these cookies out of their frozen sleeve myself, I would swear they were homemade. I wasn’t expecting what I found: oatmeal cookies that had heaps of raisins and oatmeal. They even smelled homemade! I realized the delicious sweet smell was the molasses after taking a quick glance at the ingredients.
Upon placing them in the oven I was eager to see the outcome because the directions instructed me to place them 3 inches apart, so they were sure to be large cookies. This made up for what I felt to be a small quantity in the box (though at about 50 cents for a premium oatmeal cookie the value is decent).
When the Wholly Wholesome Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough was finished cooking, the cookies themselves didn’t expand to the epic proportions that I had imagined, but they maintained their texture and I am positive I could pass these off as my own. The edges had a crispy crunch and the middle was soft, but not gooey. While the sugar is evident in this recipe, it wasn’t at all gritty.
The molasses nicely sweetened the oatmeal, which has the potential to be a bland ingredient, as opposed to loads of sugar. The flavors melded together in the oven, but still allowed each individual component like the raisin and brown sugar to come through. I tend to make less raisins than an oatmeal raisin recipe calls for, and was pleased with the amount of raisins in each cookie. It was enough to feel they were there without catching one every other bite.
Overall, I believe Wholly Wholesome Oatmeal Rasin Cookie Dough would be great with a glass of milk or tea, but truthfully, you don’t need anything extra to enjoy this snack. They are the perfect treat when you want something warm (and organic!) for your sweet tooth.

Oatmeal cookies my favorite.
Off to Amazon to try this product as I am not much good at cookie baking from scratch.
Will let you know how they stack up.
Keep up the good work!
I will need to try these. Good non-homemade oatmeal cookies are hard to find.
