Munchos have long been a guilty pleasure of mine. Growing up I remember enjoying them at the local deli and over the years I found that they are not a snack you can find anywhere and many of my friends have actually never even tried them!

Hmmm..That's Unique
Similar to local brewed beers, it seems more and more small, hometown chip brands are popping up by the day. Deep River Snacks, based in Old Lyme Connecticut, make many varieties and we gave their standard Original Salted version a taste.
An Average Snack
The initial whiff of Estrella Bacon chips as you open the bag is oddly familiar, falling somewhere between uncooked bacon and a deli meat section at your local supermarket. The taste however, loses any relation to the world’s most delicious meat.

The MunchiesBlog webmaster was strolling through a London airport when he came upon these Caffe Nero chips. Custom made for the café, Thick cut and potato-y, they are a far cry from their more flavorful siblings.
